Dr. Sullivan provides a description of psychological factors that are relevant to the determination of child support in high income cases where a deviation from guideline support is being considered. He addresses the risks to children associated with wealth from a developmental perspective, the possible impact of wealth disparities between households, and the relevance of parenting practices as they relate to wealth are presented. Finally, he addresses the potential utility of expert psychological testimony in these cases.
